Of COURSE Sherlock was like that as a child, and of course Mycroft was just as annoying to him back then with his guidance and his superiority and of COURSE he would get bored of Uni and walk out thinking (probably correctly) that he knows more than a degree is worth...
Basically, this is going straight into my head!canon. I can only hope that Mofftiss live up to this if they go into Sherlock's past.
