^_^ I'm really happy you liked it. I was afraid that it was too angsty. (I know road trips are supposed to be fun and light, but apparently my muse wasn't aware of that.)
The ending probably is a bit sudden, especially when I read it back, I think it was approaching the stage at which it was beginning to take on a life of its own and I needed to... in the nicest way possible... kill it a little bit to stop it from becoming a 50000 word epic (which tends to happen to me).
-From the back seat, Will laughs. He sounds a little hysterical. Merlin thinks that being dead will probably do that to you. For some reason, that might be the most painful line in the whole thing. I don't even know why.
That's probably my favourite line, actually. I don't know why either.
